Ajinomoto: Monosodium Glutamate; used as seasoning for a wide variety of dishes. 
Masala: A term used in South Asian cuisines to describe a mixture of spices. It could be a combination of dry, roasted spices or a paste made from mixture of different spices. 
Biryani: A set of rice-based foods made with spices, rice, and meat, fish, eggs or vegetables. 
Tandoor: A cylindrical clay oven used for cooking and baking
Aloo: potato
Baingan: brinjal
Methi: fenugreek leaves
Besan: chickpeas flour
Jeera: cumin seeds
